Peck Mech Update


Hello! 

I thought the 'Improve My Game Jam' would be a good target for me o try to get out another build for this game. But this deadline hit me faster than I had hoped. So a lot in this build could look quite messy,  especially the menus. 

If there are any 'MechJam' Jammers reading this,  Then I would like to offer an  apology for taking this long to give you any update. I have not been working on the game as much as I have wanted.  What I have done since the jam is to experiment with several physics and control models.  A lot of these did not really work, but I think I have now reached something that I'm  relatively happy with.

In the last build, mouse X axis controlled both roll and yaw, this seamed to work pretty well in the race game mode. But if I want to add more combat focused modes in the future,  then I think I need to decouple yaw from the mouse.  Yaw is now bound to A / D,  this means that wing flap controls are also changed now. For more info on how flight works now, check out the flight tutorial.

 -- NEW STUFF -- 

- I added legs to the mech.  That means that the bird can now walk around while grounded.

-  A quick tutorial,  It's in a very rough state as I was in a hurry to get it finished for the 'Improve My Game Jam'

- Added some spice to the race game mode by adding explosive barrels to shoot, doing so will grant you a time reduction.

- Made the bird wings physical.

- Created a new Island map,  the last map is left out of this build.

- New control scheme
